- The dough for roti became too loose. Already the dough was more than enough and I landed up adding some more flour. Still the dough did not change its state.
- While keeping the cup in sink; I applied some extra force and happened the obvious. Now the count is one down !!
- What next now ? what else other than more salt in subji
and No Aloo in vicinity 
( Remember its “no Aloo” thing going on 
) - Then the glass escaped from hand and broke. Two of them !!
- The jeera powder spilled and spread all over.
- While putting waste in thrash ; by mistake I dumped it on floor.
All in a single day !! 
Well what to say ..one of those bad days I guess !! Humpf !!
Now I am feeling much better ;)

Looking at the number of online lotteries I am winning (?); I should be declared almost a millionaire by now !!
Does it matter if I say I have never ever participated/purchased into those online lotteries or for that matter I have NEVER bought a lottery ticket in my life !!
Every time the amount is more than 50000 GBP or Dollars. So will it not make me rich ..errr very rich soon ? 
You want to be more rich ; respond to the mails you get from those so called African Banks !
P.S : If you feel left out ; look into the SPAM mail box of your Gmail account; I am sure you will find you are rich enough too !!

“Where ? ” You ask.
In that camp of bald people. BALD people ; those who don’t have a thing called Hair on their head !!
If there is a country for bald people I am planning to apply for residence permit over there. You feel good to have similarity around you see !!
“But Women don’t get bald ” You say.
Oh , it is that good old myth. I read somewhere that women too can get bald.
“Why” you ask.
My receding hairline is trying to tell me this bitter truth.
This very morning I found the only ( I want to sound positive ) gray hair.
Every time I take that band out of my hair ; I see it bunch of hair hugging it tightly.
My hair brush is being evil to me ; it attracts my hair like anything. Hence these days there is repulsion between me and my hair brush !!
To make matter further worst; one night I dream of having thick black pleated hair like those lucky South Indian Ladies !! Got up to see me with thinning /falling hair ..how cruel is this ? You tell me now …
Shucks ….this hair fall is gonna give me worry wrinkles too
P.S - Please don’t laugh you people; this is (supposed to be ) a serious post !!

- I want to meet someone in real life who says “I have a blog too !! ” . Mind you in that order.
- I am badly craving for some witty company these days. Having too many dumb people around does no good to you !!
- The more I hate to gossip ; the more I tend to land up with great gossipers. Then the misery starts.
- Many times; I end up in saying “no” bluntly. But I give many chances to myself to refuse politely but when nothing works; I have no options.
- It sounds total fake when people try to be too nice and without a reason they try to give that favor. How much I hate it !!
- There are no topics to talk about. As I don’t know anything about serials, kids, those in-law stories; etc. etc. They don’t know anything about blogs, books, finance, technology.
- Few things those are getting onto my nerves these day
- People don’t draw line between personal life and professional life. They do a mish-mash and make everyone’s else life messy !!
- People forget limits of personal life to be shared and they expect you to do the same. When you fail to do ; they blame it on your attitude.
- Putting up with someone whom you are not even able to connect.
- People who think having a child is everything above in Life.
- People who expect you to follow whatever they do. If they visit some ‘X’ mall ; they expect you to visit the same; if they are expecting a child; they expect you too have a child !!
- People act too close; when both of them know they are not close.

Which one is your favorite jargon ? To climb that corporate ladder faster and smoother. Take your pick.
- Hard work : It works (everybody says so !! ) ..well most of the time. It is different than sitting late in office or working on weekends. The quality of work speaks…but it is not loud and not audible at times !! or people tend to act deaf eared.
- Chamachagiri/Mascofying : The easiest way to climb up. But mind you it is a skill. People need to acquire it. Ignore those nasty looks. They are plain jealous of you because it is not their cup of tea.
- Self Marketing : Self Marketing is MUST. It does not matter even if the task is carried out by someone else. You should be capable to market yourself so that people should notice your importance. Every one sentence among 3 should say how and what you are good at.
- Talking Puppet : Talk , Talk and just Talk. Numbers,figures,jargons,news and everything else other than actual work done. A super duper communication skill. You said Work ? Aha that you can get it done !! Right ?
- Hide in the Cave : You have got the knowledge ? Hide it !! Don’t ever let out anything easily. Don’t be easy approachable. Keep that dependency going on strong. If people get it out from you they will fix the issue on their own , you will lose your importance. No ?
- Networking : Don’t ever miss that round of coffee or evening snack with Managers. Never throw excuses for that late night drink party. All the corporate decisions are aired at such places. Be in the pictures next to those powerful people always. Know the exact routes to reach there. Just keep your ears open all the time.
- Misfit : You have a low profile; all you do is let your work speak ? You don’t contribute to office politics ? Nobody invites you to that evening coffee ? You have difficulty to talk about your strengths ? You don’t know ‘Who’s who” ? People take you granted because you are approachable ? I pity you poor fellow. You are not made for this CORPORATE WORLD. Forget climbing up the ladder and promotions. You are in wrong lane Boss !!

Of late I have been on movie watching spree. It keeps happening with me. When I start watching movies I go on a spree otherwise for months I don’t watch them. Anyways the post is not about my movie watching After watching so many movies; there is my mind still craving for a good movie; a worth watch; with some substance. Isn’t it ironic ?
This feeling takes me to that ERA when hindi film industry suffered badly for good movies. Remember those days of Nagma, Arman kohli, Ayesha Jhulka, Ayub Khan etc. etc. ? The worst part I have seen most of movies of that time. ( so much waste of time and money , I know !! :-|) Prem Quaidi, Aayi milan ki Raat, Sainik, Meera ka Mohan , Yaara Dildaara , Vansh, Jeet so and so forth. The list is too long. The industry lacked a good breed of actors , scripts, technics and everything else was bad. A few exceptional good songs otherwise music was also pathetic. I call them torture movies.
When recently I got a chance to watch “Bombay to Bangkok,Hastey -Hastey, Summer 2007, Aamir” I really felt the same thing. Leaving all other things apart, these movies lack a basic thing that they just don’t entertain you. I mean even if you make an effort to understand what is happening , you fail to. Forget that the script is strong enough to hook you to the movie.
It has been really a good long time since I watched some good movie. Guys suggest me some classics. May be I have forgotten that we have a good long list of classics as well.

Guess there is unsaid rule that all my travel plans have to be memorable and special. What if you remember them because of weird things happening ?
I am normally a planned travel person. I mean I have reservations, all tickets everything planned well in advance. And when I don’t have a travel plan or plan B ; I land up in such soups. Be it domestic travel or international ; be it by train or by air ; it should not be smooth.
I missed my international flight !! Can you beat that ? 
Thanks one our desi airlines which made my travel plan go for toss. These days I don’t find much difference in Train and air journey. Why ? Oh there are lot of mentionable similarities. The main one is both gets delayed like anything and there are no alternatives than waiting helplessly.
My domestic travel got delayed by 7 hours. I was revolving over Mumbai airport for 1.5 hours waiting for ATC’s signal for landing. : -(
Finally when I reached the Swiss Air Counter It is 30 minutes before the flight time and boarding was closed.
The domestic airline refused to accept their mistake. I was standing hopelessly with my all luggage just to see the counter was closed and flight was taking off without me inside
I was angry, teary and had all mixed emotions. Hadd hai yaar !!
Finally the Swiss Airline folks acted sweet and rescheduled my itinerary for the next day.
