So true. We all love Hindi Songs. We connect to them as we understand them. Do we need to know the language to like some songs? My answer was “Yes” until I got to hear some awesome songs in other languages than Hindi / Marathi.
It started with this hip-hop kannada song “Huduga-Huduga”. On one vacation we took along this song in our player ; and the whole bunch of people at home who don’t understand kannada landed up singing this song !!
Then it was the amazing title song of this same movie . here it comes ; I love this song as ringtone as well
There is this song which I can hear in loop for hours. And thanks to Rambler who provided me the meaning of this lyrics. Here it is “Anusuthide Yako” from Mungaru Male .
I loved the tamil version of “Jara Jara”; it is one of the all time favorite. Here it is “Vaseegara” Song .
Then the latest song which keeps on playing on and on is this one. I don’t know the exact lyrics or meaning either. But the song is so soft and so romantic. Can someone send me the lyrics and meaning please ?
Do you like any ?

I was not really fan of Maah di Daal / Dal Makhani until I had it at Mast Kalandar in Bangalore. They make the best dal makhani as per me.
After that I tried at many places but no luck. It was not even near. I decided to take the plunge and give a try to it at home.
Then Jay and Bee of JugalBandi came to my rescue. Their recipe for Maa Di Daal works just perfect. ( Not this alone , almost all the recipes work perfectly )
And finally I had my favorite Dal-Makhani ready at my place …Yummy and Mouthwatering !!

During one of those “Chick” talk sessions; the discussion was going on about how well maintained these European women are. Of course then there was comparison with we Indian women.
Finally “R” says
Leave them yaar. Main bhi Aishwarya Rai se kum nahi hoon. Balki wo hi muzase kum hai !!
We were little taken a back, surprised, and all other mixed reactions ( read shocked
)
Then “R” says
I mean weight me yaar. Agar Aishwarya jarasi moti ho hajaye to bilkul mere jaisi lagegi !! Nahi ?
No Need to mention ; we were all ROFL. ![]()

Before that tiny-winy Orkut Status message might be useful in conveying the well-being of a friend.
A Big Thank you to Orkut !!
Anyways whatever may be the means but the feeling of everything being in place; world at peace and having reason to smile gives immense satisfaction !! No ?
Thank You GOD for listening to our prayers and making the friend smile again.

Will it be fun to receive one gift every day until your birthday ?
I have no clue …I haven’t received one yet !!
Someone was so cheerpy for last three days….
My little niece was curious what the next day is gonna bring in for her
Finally I think we made her day; the way she was bubbling over the phone !!

Few years ago one of my friend gifted me this album named “Sahar” by Jagjit Singh. I was head over heels in love with those songs.
Years passed …I haven’t heard these songs till date…for that matter Jagjit Singh all these years.
Today suddenly I searched them on You Tube and I still love these songs like I used to do !!
Here are the videos
1. Tere Baarein me Socha Nahi Tha , Main Tanha Tha Magar Itana Nahi Tha
2. Muzase Bichad ke Khush Rehate ho, Meri Tarah tum bhi zoote ho

It is fun growing up as youngest family member. You get all the undivided attention and love. The fun continues if you marry the youngest son of a small family and become the youngest daughter-in-law.
People spoil errr ..pamper you by being there fullfilling your demands. You get those ice-creams. You are picked up from airport and train stations. People come over half way through the journey so that you need not travel alone.
When you demand learning a car ; they encourage you. They make sure you go daily and ask for progress report
The eldest person of the family gets that hot steaming samosa while coming from evening walk. They get birthday cake for your 30th birthday !!
:D They drive you to the super market; get you gol-gappas. They make sure someone accompanies you when you go out so that you don’t get lost in the city !!
Everyday is treated like festival. Someone will cook your favorite dish. one day dahi-wada, other day idlis and third day you will be asked “what’s next that you want to eat ? ”
Family members think being youngest you don’t know cooking. You too keep mum.
Hence you are not expected to cook in the kitchen. All you are doing is helping around
The story is still going on
If somebody objects for that extra attention; the other family member stands by you. Saying “Are wo to choti hai na ; to uske liye sub maaf hai ”
These moments are the most cherished one. They make you feel wanted, cared and loved. Isn’t it the best feeling in the world ?
Once you come back and take over your routine life ; again you will be the boss, doing and managing these things on your own. No ? Until then enjoy maadi
Ask me !! It is a lot more fun than this.
And I love every bit of it !!

Until few days back I had bad cough. Nothing New about it. Before during such situations; I used to walk into the medical store ; buy that bottle of “Bendryl” and gulp it. Now that the scene here is different. I tried out one of those home remedies. Like taking steam and having hot milk with turmeric. It actually cured the cough
I remember those childhood days; when mom used to run behind make me drink that haldi-doodh for cough. I hated it !! May be I never believed that such things can actually do the needful. Underestimated them actually.
Mom knew something or other first aid things for these small small ups and downs. She kept on iterating so many times unknowingly I have picked them up too
There was a time when mom used to do everything ready and I had liberty to throw tantrums ! Now you have got to do it yourself !!
We take those small things for granted no ?
I miss them too much …sometimes ….
